H Buttrey Construction Excavation & Grading was founded in 2024 by Hunter Buttrey, a Hickman County native who's been running excavation equipment for 18 years. What started as a passion for working the land turned into a career, and what started as a career turned into a business built around one principle: do the job right.
Based in Nunnelly, TN — population just over 200 — H Buttrey Construction is a true small-town contractor that thinks big. We serve customers across an 18-county service area covering 100 miles of Middle Tennessee, from Nashville suburbs to rural Wayne County, from Williamson County custom homes to Stewart County waterfront builds.
